My Mum’s House (Axis’ Standards)
At Axis we recognise that our work place is someone’s home and along with the resident needs to be treated with the maximum of respect. It’s one of our corporate values and is enforced by a strict code of conduct.
In order to take this commitment one step further we’ve developed a campaign called ‘My Mum’s House’. This message is a reminder to all Axis staff, both on site and in offices, that their appearance, attitude and the way they work must meet Axis’ standards.
Axis’ CEO, John Hayes explains his policy. “Everyone at Axis knows that if they’re not dressed and acting in a way that they would be happy for a trades-person visiting their ‘Mum’s House’, then they’re not dressed well enough to work in a residents home.”
The message is clear; dress smartly, show ID, be respectful. Clients expect it, residents expect it and we expect it! It’s the reason Axis continuously achieves resident satisfaction in the top quartile and is raising the standards of social housing maintenance.
