We’re recruiting for a new health and safety advisor to join our dedicated team of professionals who help keep us all healthy and safe. You’ll be responsible for advising our colleagues on all health and safety related matters, including both office and site locations. You’ll be updating our policies and processes as required, and working closely with the business to understand and mitigate the risks we face in a construction and housing environment.
You’ll know best practice, and you’ll be able to translate that into not only meaningful actions, but also hard data and reports that are presented at Executive level on a regular basis, so we need you to be able to write and present to wide ranging audiences, from apprentices to our CEO.
We need you to already have:
- NEBOSH certification
- CDM 2015
- Experience in construction
- The ability to communicate and work with a wide range of people
And ideally we’d like to see:
- Technician IOSH membership
- Scaffolding inspection
- DSE knowledge
- Fire safety protocols
- Incident investigation experience
In addition to giving you the extra skills and experience you need to get to your next role, we’ll also support your career by giving you access to all our toolbox talks, all our inductions, and all of our expertise.
We’ll work with you to highlight how health and safety in our industry should look, and we’ll make sure that your physical and mental health is cared for while you care for us. We’ll even throw in free tea and coffee because we know our world runs on caffeine sometimes!
And please remember, here at Axis, we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our clients, and our community.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and value diversity above all else, we do not discriminate on any basis, so come join us.
We’d love to hear from you, so please do have a look at the job spec below, and apply with your CV. If you have any further questions, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
