Overall Purpose 

To assist and advise the business on the technical and employment law risks of people management processes undertaken, across all Axis offices, minimising risk. Coaching line managers to ensure they follow process across all areas of the employee life cycle. HR data reporting.

Key Tasks/Activities/Responsibilities 

  • Supporting all managers with all HR related issues across all Axis offices, by offering technical advice ensuring the correct application of the procedures and employment law to minimise risk
  • Supporting managers with all aspects of Employee Relations across all Axis offices by offering technical advice, taking minutes and dealing with all correspondence
  • Managing Axis’ sickness absence procedure
  • Managing all stages of TUPE and Redundancy process
  • Providing HR reports and data analysis to understand areas of risk
  • Supporting the HR Team with all the on going projects such as training and apprentices, under the instructions of the HR Manager
  • Keeping all HR trackers up to date
  • Delivering New Starters’ Induction
  • Any other ad hoc HR Management requests

Key Knowledge 

Person Specification

  • Degree level and above in the Management field
  • CIPD qualified
  • High level technical knowledge, ideally an advanced certificate in employment law or similar.
  • Excellent knowledge of Employment Law

  • Excellent Coaching and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Good Database Management

Key Experience

  • Previous work experience as HR Advisor dealing with Employee Relations
  • Data Analytics and Reporting

  •  Must be flexible to travel to other offices
