Axis Foundation Christmas Charity Ball 2017

Posted on

Thanks to the continued support of our guests, we have raised over £550,000 from our Charity Ball nights, which Axis has been hosting for over 12 years.

Now the Axis Foundation Christmas Charity Ball is our biggest fundraiser of the year. And in December 2017 we raised over £70,000, thanks once again to our friends, subcontractors, family, clients and partners who came along to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

In its nine year history, the Axis Foundation has donated £970,000 to individuals, causes and charities which support the local community. In 2017 alone, we donated over £180,000 to 37 causes. As we near the £1 million pound  landmark in total donations our Christmas Charity Ball felt even more special this year.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time to make the 2017 Axis Foundation Christmas Charity Ball such a wonderful occasion – including particularly Alan Curbishley, our generous patron, and our MC Steve Sutherland – and of course to our incredibly generous guests.

Money raised at this year’s ball is donated to Demelza and Sparks,  our charity partners.

“On behalf of Sparks and everyone at GOSH Charity, thank you so much for your tremendous support” – Elvira Morrison Head of Sparks  – Sparks has now joined forces with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’ Charity (GOSH)

“Axis is one of Demelza’s biggest supporters and Demelza is overwhelmed by our incredible relationship with Axis. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of our families, thank you.” – Ryan Campbell, Chief Executive Demelza
