Axis HQ moves, merges and grows

Posted on

During a year of exceptional growth from new contracts and developing sectors, as well as expanding geographic territory, Axis is moving its headquarters to Tramway House in Stratford in East London.

For 22 years, Axis’ HQ has been located in Vauxhall. Five years ago, the company moved their Repairs, Maintenance & Refurbishment Divisions into Tramway House. And now the firm’s Head Office Support Teams and the Projects Division will also move to the Stratford premises, joining their colleagues and bringing together 530 Axis people under one roof.

Ahead of the move Axis’ own office interiors operation designed and completed the category A and B fit-out of the four-storey Stratford office to create Grade A work and client meeting space.

Axis CEO John Hayes said about the move “We are very excited; the newly refurbished office’s design and facilities will enable us to adopt more agile and collaborative working practices. This will allow our teams to operate more effectively and achieve even better outcomes for clients across property sectors.

“The move brings our people together, which can only make us stronger. We still benefit from a central location from which we can service existing contracts across London and the South East and it will support current and future growth for the business.”
