Axis Wins at Amicus Horizon Awards

Posted on

Axis has received an award from Amicus Horizon as part of their Giving Back Awards.

The awards were established to recognise the fantastic contribution Amicus Horizon’s suppliers and contractors make to the lives of their residents through training, job opportunities and supporting community initiatives. Axis is responsible for day-to-day repairs and voids for Amicus Horizon, with a dedicated team looking after the contract, located in our Sittingbourne office.

The theme of this year’s awards was ‘Opening a World of Opportunities’ and we were the leading contributors in the ‘Supporting Resident Events’ category. One of Axis’ key values is to give something back to the communities in which work and we pride ourselves on giving our residents opportunities to learn new skills and find employment, which is why we run an apprenticeship scheme and recruit from the areas in which we operate. A number of our apprentices are currently working on the Amicus Horizon contract, having come from the local area, and we will recruit from that area next year when applications for the apprenticeship open again.
