Axis and City West Volunteers Redecorate Dryburgh Hall

Posted on

Axis and City West joined forces to redecorate Dryburgh Hall on the Abbots Manor Estate, as part of a community investment project.

The project was managed by three Axis employees who were joined by seven employees from City West, who volunteered as part of their ‘Leap into Action’ week. Shaban Cevani, Housing Manager at City West commented “The ‘Leap into Action’ week is held across many of our estates, incorporating gardening, and painting and decorating projects. It is something we regularly do and it is great to get our own volunteers involved as well as support from our contractors”.

Axis’ Liam Brain, Trainee Supervisor did a fantastic job at project managing the site during the redecoration in January 2016. Stephen Coetzee, Contract Manager was also involved in the project and commented “We always try to do something for the client, so helping to manage this redecoration project was a good way to fulfil this promise”.

The project proved to be a great success as Axis received positive feedback from local residents and the community about the hall. Shaban expressed “The hall looks fantastic – I want to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped to deliver this project successfully”.
