Fusion21 has appointed Axis onto its national Construction Works and Improvements Framework over a four year period – following an OJEU compliant tender process. This specialist framework offers lots specific to housing, education and healthcare providers and has been developed to deliver capital works programmes across the public sector.
From internal and external refurbishment and improvement works through to the building of additional structures, the framework supports Fusion21 members to deliver regeneration programmes, modernisation and upgrade works, plus expansion of estates. It also offers a range of construction works helping members to deliver asset lifecycle projects through the stages of design, build, operate and maintain.
Axis has successfully been awarded a place on six lots within the framework – which went live in April 2019 – with the initial lots for Internal and External Refurbishment in the Healthcare and the Public sector estimated to total £75m and £40m in value respectively. A further four lots involve Internal and External Refurbishment with Build.
Works Axis offer include refurbishment, regeneration, modernisation and upgrading, as well as stock improvement programmes and fit-outs. This is alongside Housing Regeneration Schemes and major works on new builds, as well as existing structures.
Axis have worked on projects for numerous organisations within the health sector, including NHS Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the Royal Hospital Chelsea. We have also delivered services in the wider public sector for Merseyside Police, Essex Police, Ministry of Defence and RAF Cosford.
