The Axis Foundation has secured a new signing. Former Premier League manager of both Charlton Athletic and West Ham United, Alan Curbishley has been named as the first ever Patron of the Axis Foundation and will front the campaign to promote our Minibus Giveaway.

Alan, whose high profile career in the beautiful game dates back to his days playing for Birmingham City, West Ham United, Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Charlton Athletic and Brighton has been a long-time supporter of the Foundation and will be using his current profile as a celebrated football pundit to help bolster awareness of our charity and the causes we support.

As Patron, Alan’s role will be to support the Axis Foundation’s projects, promotions and endorsements and bring in the encouragement of other individuals and institutions. With Alan’s credibility in the sporting world, his support will be invaluable in increasing the prestige of the campaigns we work on as well as the communities we assist.

Speaking about his patronage, Alan said:

“I’m delighted to lend my support to this charity which has proven to make a big difference to many causes, people and groups in our community that need help. The minibus giveaway is a great example of how the Axis Foundation is giving back to the community and will clearly be of huge benefit to the right cause.”
