Chris Ngoma set up Ordini Official, a premium unisex fashion brand for all ages at affordable prices, thanks to mentoring sessions with Joe Ibrahim, Managing Director at Axis. Chris is now selling jumpers, t-shirts, hats and tracksuits and is working on new products.
Joe also introduced Chris to a Supply Chain partner (who has helped to design and create new merchandise for Chris) and a Website Developer to help market the new products. Chris has also been working with Paul Smart, Axis Marketing Director, to best strategise the promotion of Ordini Official through social media and other websites.
Joe’s continued sessions with Chris provide an opportunity to evaluate the objectives of Ordini Official, as well as pinpointing any gaps in the business model and regular progress checks on goals and building motivation.
Chris said, “Having Joe as a mentor from a young age has been hugely helpful and positive this has had a big impact on my life. I’m developing every day and after every meeting with Joe I feel like I’m getting closer to my goals. Joe has really inspired and motivated me to keep pushing and improve myself as a young man, and as a businessman. I have improved my confidence, knowledge, and gained a lot of skills. The mentoring has helped me stay focused on what I am trying to achieve and has helped me with building a positive lifestyle routine.”
Joe said: “I’ve really enjoyed working with Chris. It’s been great to see such a committed young man start a business from scratch and break into the world of business with his innovative ideas. I look forward to seeing how Ordini Official continues to develop.”
