Warwick District Council New Repairs and Voids Contract

Warwick District Council has awarded Axis a new four-year contract to provide its housing repairs, void property reinstatement and out-of-hours service.

The Works include:

• Repairs and maintenance work to Void domestic dwellings.
• Reactive and Planned Repairs and Maintenance works to domestic dwellings, communal areas, ancillary structures, garages and surrounding areas.
• Out of Hours Reactive Repairs and Maintenance works to properties including Corporate, Commercial and Residential buildings, garages, parks and open spaces.

Delivered from Axis’ Midlands operation, over 5,600 properties in Warwick District Council. These are situated across Warwick, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and surrounding rural villages. With the potential of an additional four-year extension, the contract could be valued at £20m and run until 2026.

Axis was chosen to keep residents’ homes safe and comfortable, contributing towards the Council’s objective to make Warwick District a great place to live, work and visit.

In addition to raising the standard of their property repairs, it is the partnership’s intention that community welfare should benefit too. As such, Axis is committed to working with the local supply chain, employing from within the community and offering apprenticeships.
