Due to our ability to mobilise expert teams quickly, we were contracted to complete the emergency removal of cladding from Success House in London’s Old Kent Road where a failed BRE Integrity Test dictated that the works be carried out urgently for our client Peabody.
Phase 1 saw us stripping the existing cladding and wood back to the substrate in order to reduce fire risk. We then covered the exposed substructure with Tyvek waterproof membrane. Alucoband (A2) and Marley Equitone, both fire retardant and fully compliant with Building Regulations, were installed in Phase 2.
• Seven storey building
• Removal of timber Shiplap Cladding and Alucobond (A) Cladding
