We’ve completed internal and external decoration to 30 flats in a Grade II listed building that was built in 1914.
All paints and materials were carefully chosen to protect and preserve the building’s original features which included careful preparation and redecoration of the original bell cupola over the entrance way arch. All finishes were selected as like-for-like in order to comply with the building’s listed status.
The building is occupied by elderly and vulnerable adults and required a sensitive working approach with a carefully selected team of skilled and considerate operatives. In order to minimise disruption, cherry pickers were used instead of scaffolding to reach eaves and soffits. Weekly updates were provided to residents and interested partners in regular on-site meetings within the communal living room area to keep occupants informed throughout the project.
